Sales - Apprentice Training for First-Time Renewals
The Texas Real Estate Commission requires sales agents to take sales apprentice education within their renewal term. You must complete 90 hours of qualifying education within two years of obtaining your sales agent license. This equals a total of 270 hours of qualifying education for a Texas Real Estate Broker License.

IMPORTANT: As of October 1, 2023, you must take the 30-hour Real Estate Brokerage course as part of the 270 hours of QE to meet the TREC renewal requirements by your first renewal cycle.
